Work performed
- Complete polishing of the main case.
- Initial cleaning and polishing of the case back.
- Minor corner reshaping to remove slight surface damage on the steel.
- Partial laser re-engraving — please note that the original Panerai factory uses milling engraving technology.
- Replacement of the original movement with OP XXIX (taken from PAM 00318) to achieve maximum authenticity and performance — this caliber fully corresponds to the factory OP II standard.
- Installation of our customized strap and buckle.
- Presentation in our custom travel box.
- Time regulation and precision testing on a timegrapher.
Result
As a result, the watch regained its authentic Panerai appearance and technical integrity. The restored case and re-engraved backplate now match factory specifications, while the upgraded OP XXIX movement ensures reliable Swiss precision equivalent to the original OP II caliber. The timepiece was fully serviced, finely regulated, and delivered in our custom travel box — ready for daily wear or collection display.
