Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about our restoration and customization work.
Are you affiliated with Panerai, Cartier, Breitling, or other watch brands?
No. We operate as an independent watch restoration and customization studio. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by any watch brand. All brand names are used strictly for identification and descriptive purposes.
Are the watches presented on your website brand new?
No. All watches featured on our website are pre-owned timepieces that have undergone professional restoration, servicing, and/or customization. Each project description clearly explains the work performed.
Are the watches authentic?
Yes. All base watches are authentic original timepieces. However, due to restoration or customization work, a watch may no longer fully correspond to its original factory configuration. Any modifications are always clearly disclosed.
What does “restoration” mean in your work?
Restoration may include complete movement servicing, cosmetic refinishing of cases or components, dial cleaning, and repair or replacement of worn parts. Our goal is to restore functionality and aesthetics while preserving the watch’s character.
What does “customization” mean?
Customization refers to bespoke modifications made outside the original factory specification. This may include custom-made components, decorative elements, or design changes. All customized parts are clearly identified and never presented as factory-original.
Are custom-made parts original manufacturer parts?
No. Custom-made components are independently designed and manufactured and are not original factory parts unless explicitly stated otherwise.
What movements do you use for restoration?
Depending on the project, we restore movements using official Swiss base calibres, such as ETA movements, in order to accurately reflect historical architecture or technical specifications of certain brand calibres.
Does restoration or customization affect the manufacturer’s warranty?
Yes. Any manufacturer warranty is considered void once a watch has been serviced, restored, or modified outside the official brand service network.
Do you provide a warranty on your work?
Where explicitly stated, we provide a limited warranty covering the restoration or servicing work performed by our studio. Warranty terms may vary depending on the project.
Are your activities legal within the European Union?
Yes. All our activities are conducted lawfully within the European Union and comply with applicable consumer protection, trademark, and commercial regulations.
Do you preserve original serial numbers?
Yes, whenever possible. Original serial numbers and identifying markings are preserved unless their condition or structural integrity makes this impossible. Any exceptions are clearly disclosed.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship internationally using insured and trackable courier services. Shipping terms and conditions are communicated prior to dispatch.
Can I request a custom or bespoke project?
Yes. We accept select custom and bespoke projects, subject to technical feasibility and availability. Please contact us to discuss your request in detail.
