As a result of a comprehensive restoration process, this Breitling V17311101B1W1 has been returned to excellent mechanical condition while preserving its original identity and character. The watch is powered by a movement restored to closely reflect the Breitling Calibre 17 specification, using the official Swiss ETA 2824-2 as its base. The movement has been fully restored, regulated, and tested to ensure reliable performance, accuracy, and long-term stability. During the project, we deliberately chose not to apply a fully customized design to the caseback. Instead, the original caseback was carefully reworked into a half-custom configuration: one section retains the original factory design and serial number, while the other features a bespoke, studio-crafted custom engraving. This balanced approach preserves the watch’s authenticity while adding a distinctive individual character. The dial was carefully cleaned to restore a crisp and well-balanced appearance, and the strap was replaced with a rubber strap, enhancing durability and suitability for everyday and active use.
